Default Opeth

This was difficult, my #1 has always been my fav, but 2,3,4 could be in any order as they're all top albums. I also tried my hardest not to be 'Opeth sucks now' but since they turned into a 70's prog rock pastiche their albums are less and less interesting. It also pains me that Orchid is 8th in list but the other albums are just better!

  1. Morningrise (1996)
  2. Blackwater Park (2001)
  3. Still Life (1999)
  4. Ghost Reveries (2005)
  5. Damnation (2003)
  6. Deliverance (2002)
  7. Watershed (2008)
  8. Orchid (1995)
  9. My Arms, Your Hearse (1998)
  10. Sorceress (2016)
  11. Heritage (2011)
  12. Pale Communion (2014)
  13. In Cauda Venenum (2019)

Darkthrone.jpg

Before i do this there are NO bad Darkthrone albums so this is not easy for me.

The first three albums maybe a bit cliche but they are not iconic albums for no reason.

Under A Funeral Moon
A Blaze In The Northern Sky
Transilvanian Hunger
Soulside Journey
Panzerfaust
Plaguewielder
Ravishing Grimness
The Cult Is Alive
Hate Them
Old Star
Sardonic Wrath
Darkthrones and Black Flags
The Underground Resistance
F.O.A.D
Circle The Wagons
Arctic Thunder
Total Death
Goatlord

The top 2 are the wrong way around other than that, and Arctic being so low on the list I pretty much agree

  • Who's Next
  • Who
  • The Who Sell Out
  • Who Are You
  • My Generation
  • A Quick One
  • The Who by Numbers
