Iron Maiden Kerrang took the unenviable task of ranking the Iron Maiden albums so that we don't have to. Well in fact they took a poll with thousands of entries and this is the result. I'm not entirely sure I agree fully, but like most great bands that top 5 can be impossible to place. https://www.kerrang.com/features/iro...worst-to-best/ 1. SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON (1988) 2. POWERSLAVE (1984) 3. THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST (1982) 4. SOMEWHERE IN TIME (1986) 5. PIECE OF MIND (1983) 6. BRAVE NEW WORLD (2000) 7. KILLERS (1981) 8. FEAR OF THE DARK (1992) 9. A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH (2006) 10. THE BOOK OF SOULS (2015) 11. IRON MAIDEN (1980) 12. DANCE OF DEATH (2003) 13. THE X FACTOR (1995) 14. NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING (1990) 15. THE FINAL FRONTIER (2010) 16. VIRTUAL XI (1998)

Fear of the Dark above Book of Souls, Iron Maiden, The Final Frontier. WTF? I mean, it's a joke yes. |

It's voted by fans so I guess that's what's most popular. Personally I think The Final Frontier is a pretty bad album, I definitely like Fear of the Dark much better, although it shouldn't be in the top 10 I agree.

It sure as shit won't look like that one. Except for the album in the #1 position. |

These lists are all very subjective anyway, while I don't 100% agree on the Maiden one, neither have fully agreed on any of the posted lists

1379447675000-XXX-NIRVANA-MUS-04344.jpg Bleach Incesticide Nevermind In Utero Unplugged Muddy Banks To me Nirvana didn't release a bad album and i had to include both live albums because they showed the two different sides to the band. No one expected just how their songs would translate to unplugged and what they turned out was a masterclass along with covers by David Bowie The Meat Puppets and The Vaselines they made the songs their own. It's hard to put them in any order when each release brought something else to the table.

I loved the first two albums but after that i didn't buy any of the others so i can't judge. Maybe i should give them a listen.

All the others are kind of on the same level for me though for many different reasons, i just prefer the loose punchy feel of Incesticide.
