You've already got Seek & Destroy don't be so selfish

I wonder is James can actually sing those songs still, they were quite high up there, can't see him doing Jump in the Fire now

Just water it down like they do with all their songs live

Sorry I'll f*** off now.

All joking aside it's a cool idea mixing up the sets like that .

It's a shit line up at Download once more. Copping's afraid to take any risks regarding the headliners - i mean ****ing Slipknot again.

There's barely any names that people really want to see and like you say three quarters of the bands are new (and probably cheap to hire) as they don't sell any records but the kids stream their stuff.

The only bands i'd watch would be Metallica, Alter Bridge (Should be ****ing headlining) Halestorm, Within Temptation (Also should be headlining), Skindred, Evanescence (Headlining), Epica, Clutch, Municipal Waste, Behemoth, Hatebreed and Ghost who definitely should be headlining.

I know that sounds like a lot of bands i would want to watch but not across four bloody days. It's pitiful.

Slipknot are good live no doubt, i saw them play Manchester Arena on a co-headline with Slayer. Slipknot had to follow Slayer who were on first that night. It took them two drummers and a percussionist and they still weren't a match for Dave Lombardo. I did like them though.

I mean all these new bands. Where's Kreator, where's Overkill or Extreme or Queensryche? Bands with some bloody songs.

What is kind of annoying is that if you can't make both nights of a Metallica show and for example can only see the Saturday headline then you've missed Master of Puppets, Creeping Death Seek and Destroy, Nothing Else Matters and Fuel (A personal fave).

However it's far more interesting than those acts who play the same shit tour on tour year after year.

The new Foo Fighters album has beaten Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in the battle for the number one album by around 5000 sales.

But Here We Are sold 44,513 units compared to Council Skies’ 39,642, eventually gave it a clear victory margin of 12.29%.

Avenged Sevenfold seem to be losing fans.

Hail to the King reached number one ten years ago but new album Life is but a Dream only charted at # 21 today.
