After watching The Battery I picked up Cover me with brule by Rock-Folk group Rock Plaza Central for the song Ain't no grave. The album is only available from Bandcamp and, as it is essentially a collection of unlicensed covers for which they are unable to charge, can be yours for as little as you want to pay.

I also picked up a copy of the self titled album Smoke Faries by the Smoke Faries which while not quite as good as Through low light and trees is still a welcome addition to my library.

Finally I went to see Delta Moon live at the local Blues club (Meisenfrei) with a friend a couple of weeks ago and came home with Life's a Song a recording of one of their previous gig's. Not really my usual cup of tea but I have really enjoyed listening to it.

Oh and I ordered Simon Boswell's Hardware soundtrack album direct from Simon's website. Hopefully it will turn up early next week.

It's worth it just for the cover.

Its a neat liitle steel box to,the metal alone must of cost a fiver and each disc has an individual sleeve so they have'nt skimped on that either.

I was told about this album by a friend in America. It took me by surprise and I'm really enjoying it, especially the first three tracks. Intro, Kettering and Sylvia.

The album is around £12 on Feebay but i got a copy in Fopp for £5. not bad at all really.
