Back in the day, nightclubs in Portsmouth were truly dangerous places to go to!

I was in 'Pompey' once.
It had an old seventies concrete-jungle-type shopping centre....wonder if it's still there....

There was a really sleazy nightclub in it, called Basins, where I saw Nik Turner, Huw Lloyd Langton Band and Bob Calvert many years ago

That's it Suz!

I half expected Jack Carter to fling Cliff Brumby off the roof!

I did the whole acid house thing, but my best memories are from much later, when I use to go to a club midweek in Camden, "The Loft" with Paul "Trouble" Anderson. Only a tiny place, but no moody people, as everyone there were strictly there to hear (soulful House) music they loved.

This is the age you are 'too old' to be seen in a nightclub | Bristol Post

37 apparently!

That's a relief - I'm officially too old to go to nightclubs now!!
