quick calculation in my head says it would be cheaper than that if you target sale items but perhaps Reaps could tell us on average how much it works out per disc?

Wow have a load of Criterions around the £20 mark at the moment. VAT will be added with them being over the £15 limit, however prices include postage and they are shipped within the UK so are customs exempt.

I bought (After foolishly selling them)

DON'T LOOK NOW
SILENCE OF THE LAMBS
REPULSION
BARRY LYNDON

For £66-£16.50 each.

Will cost me around 18 quid to ship = £21 each

A whopping 3 quid more each than here in the UK.....

Haha yeah it is

No single film blu ray should be £18, it's a total rip off. It's almost like designer clothes, you're paying for the Criterion name.

If Arrow, 88 Films etc can do sales where there products are sometimes £6 to £8 for films they have paid to restore then so can Criterion, Eureka etc

Everything is going up in price now, £15 is going to be the cheaper end of the scale. You can’t even buy a new Arrow BD for less than £18 at the moment! I feel like the heady days of cheap media is behind us. 88 Films have even said they’re unlikely to be back in HMV at this point (in a flippant forum remark).

It’ll force me to break a bad habit at the very least lol.

Hope so, can't be paying £18 for arrow & £15 for 88 titles, most of my uk criterions i've got for £10 from cex, only one i paid full price for was The Blob but I had been waiting for that since laserdisc days lol!
