This is what I got though I very rarely get to use this room.
50inch lg plasma.
PS3 which I use for pretty much everything.
And an older hitachi dvd player which is region free that I use for the half dozen region 1 dvd's I never watch.
Recently picked up a new amp too, my Sony STRDH820 and a pair of cambridge audio bookshelf speakers for the front channels.
I would never venture outside of my house if i had a cinema room like that, seeing as you're in south wales, if a bearded guy with a Karate Kid T-Shirt shows up on your door, it'll just be me, i'll be moving into your cinema..

My wife loves this cabinet, so we came to a compromise - we use it for A/V gear, but I could customise the interior. Everything can be operated with the cabinet doors shut.
Top - Foxtel HD box
Mid - Oppo 103BDP, multi region BD & DVD
Bot - Yamaha receiver

Close up of the gear. The left hand side of cabinet has three drawers behind the door, for remotes, manuals, screen cleaner etc.

60 inch screen? Nice. That must be a decent size room mate I would never have thought the screen was that big from the picture.

I'd love to get up to a 60" but my room is just too small. Most people think the 50" is too big. (Obviously they're wrong)
