Strange that the BD of Cannibal Ferox is locked after releasing Cannibal Holocuast region free.

It's not up to Grindhouse though is it.

Apparently, the main feature on disc one will be locked; while disc two, containing the extras, will be region free. The Beyond had the same set up.

That's no good for me -- The only reason I'd want the Grindhouse Ferox Blu is for the main feature. I don't own a multi-region BD player.

I don't know of any European Blu-rays as of yet. But until then, i'm quite happy with my Austrian Sazuma tin box Ultrabit edition, and the Danish version from Another World Entertainment. Both maybe DVD's, but at least they're anamorphic unlike the early Grindhouse.

Yes please that would be helpful.

Thanks which do you prefer? From the screens some GH look better and some Arrow look better.

Grindhouse wins here. It's more filmic looking and unlike the Arrow release no excessive digital manipulation. It's currently the best home video release of The Beyond. Of course it could have been much better if they made a new transfer but we got what we got.
