Yeah, I only have 2, the Iron Maiden Book of Souls one and Machine Head Bloodstone & Diamonds, and they have to live on my DVD shelves, which is annoying  |
Well this appeared in the 88 webshop today - https://88-films.myshopify.com/colle...11439062122538 Looks good! |

I have preordered the four titles which have just become available (Blood Harvest, One-Armed Swordsman, The Dragon Missile, and The Ghost Lovers) redeeming 1000 my Skull Points for a £15 voucher. I wish I had ordered Sea Fog at the same time, but didn't notice it was available, so have contacted the guys to see if there's a way of combining orders or |

surprised they didn't put Communion on the reverse given that its the British title... oh well... |
It would appear to be a 'stripped back' version Looking at the specs, the new Blu-Ray release contains the following special features:
Compared to the original 88Films DVD release, which contained:
the Blu-Ray adds a restoration comparison, but loses the commentary, alternate title sequence and stills gallery Special features matter to me, so I don't think I would bother with the new re-issue |
The 88 Films Thread Plus.....you get a reverse that has no mention of the slasher collection, for the people that 88 think aren’t buying these because they’re part of a collection. Surprised they didn’t tout that as a special feature. It’s a complete pisstake that companies need to list stuff like audio and subtitles as special features to make it look like there’s anything on a disc. Let’s be honest, the only “special” features on the blu-ray are the comparison and a trailer. |
I don't mind too much. It would be better if there were new extra features, but the big selling point for me is the remastered picture and sound, and I would probably keep the DVD anyway (I have two versions: Hen's Tooth and 88 Films) so if I want to listen to the commentary, it's not an inconvenience to find a disc with it. |
Really excited that it's getting a Blu-ray release. But weren't Warner's putting this out? |
