Hi, when we announced Offerings the other day, we mentioned this was a new 2K restoration. This was a mistake, it's actually 4K.

Sorry for the confusion."

They're the kind of mistakes I like to hear

EXTRA NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT: The Boneyard (Blu-ray)

"One of the greatest zombie movies you probably never saw is finally back to chew its way into your 88 Films collection!

Released in 1991, THE BONE YARD is a certified cult classic of the VHS era that mixes the bad taste splatter humour of such classics as THE EVIL DEAD and RE-ANIMATOR with enough corpse-shambling thrills and ghoulish chills to make for an essential late night watch.
Telling of a living dead outbreak in a coroner's office, THE BONE YARD is a claustrophobic love letter to George A. Romero that inotrduces some original ideas to the well-worn meat-munching trope. With a cast that includes television legend Phyllis Diller and B-movie veteran Ed Nelson (A BUCKET OF BLOOD) and with ertswhile makeup effects genius James Cummins (THE THING) as director - this is one low budget bout of blood-splattered brilliance that more than deserves its HD premiere from 88 Films!!

The Boneyard is a terrible film, but a lot of fun too. I'll be picking up a copy! :D

"Hey guys / gals. Who loves a media book then? We fancy doing something a bit different with an upcoming HD upgrade and we’re thinking about one of these. Thoughts?"

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 6th February 2018 04:29 PM

I like them and wouldn't be averse to a release also in a media book. However, if they are done, I hope it would be for a stand-alone release and wouldn't bugger up any of the existing collections – the change in red cases for the Slasher Classics was bad enough!

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 6th February 2018 06:32 PM

I'd buy it.I have a lot of German mediabooks.
But as Nos says, not at the cost of buggering up spinebuilders.
So I'd buy both versions.
