Wouldn't surprise me if the postman thought 'i can't be arsed delivering these big parcels on a Saturday morning, i'll leave it until next week.'

That's not to far from the truth for me, have two posties one never delivers anything heavier than a letter while the other always delivers parcels.

I actually have both of them and I've never watched them

but my flatmate has the 70s version, which is the best one! It comes on something like 7 DVDs.

They are worth watching. They have a lot of that quaint British charm of the period.

I didn't know there was a colour dvd release. I did see that as a child though in the 70's.

Used to watch Famous Five but read Secret Seven.
