I watched this last month, and I must say, great expectations that were not met. Not sure I'd call this a "classic". Great title, though, but that's about it!

I have the Network dvd which looks nice enough already.

Like you say it's not a great film. It has a wonderful opening and decent finale but everything in between is a bit of a chore.

I doubt i'll be buying it, unless it comes in some sort of lovely but affordable special edition like Vintage Classics did with Masque of the Red Death and The Go Between.

Devil Girl From Mars has long been a favourite of mine. I've had the great looking dvd from Image for years but this will definitely be one to upgrade.

For absolutely no reason, I never had this one in my collection. It just never crossed my path. Now is the perfect time to fill that gap.

It's one of those that was always in Network sales on dvd for two or three pounds so i'm surprised you never took the plunge.

Then again it may have cost a fortune shipping to Portugal.

I never noticed it! :O
But outside Amazon, it's always very risky, so I very rarely even try, now. The Newman/Forshaw extras convinced me.

Kim does the extras for the forthcoming Horrors of the Black Museum as well.

Along with Stephen Jones, who for me makes my favourite double act.
