Was hoping they’d use the North Sea Hijack title on the reverse, but both use the shitty Ffolkes title. The Australian release even has the option of playing the film with either title onscreen. Here’s hoping someone puts it out here.

Confession. Whenever I’m channel hopping if I stumble across North Sea Hijack I always have to watch it to the very end. A totally whacked out slice of non-PC old school entertainment with a great cast. RIP David Hedison

The mind boggles why they would want that artwork.
I would even have settled for something like these over that artwork.

About frigging time this got a Blu Ray release :woohoo:

Release date: March 17, 2020

"The horrors of war take on a whole new meaning for Vietnam vet Norman Hopper (John Saxon, Nightmare Beach, Evil Eye, Queen of Blood), whose quiet domestic life in Atlanta is shattered by the return of Charlie Bukowski, a combat buddy who dredges up terrifying flashbacks of flesh eating and bloodshed in the war-torn jungles. Now on the run from the law after taking a bite out of an unwilling victim, Charlie begs Norman to help him get out of town with another fellow veteran, Tom (Tony King, Report to the Commissioner, The Raiders of Atlantis). 'The Rare Breed'

Release date: March 10th, 2020

"From Andrew V. McLaglen, the acclaimed director of Shenandoah, The Way West, The Devil’s Brigade, Chisum, Ffolkes and The Wild Geese, comes this epic western based on America’s acquisition of English Hereford cattle (which would phase out Texas longhorns). In the 1880s, Englishwoman Martha Price (Maureen O’Hara, The Quiet Man, Lisbon) and her daughter Hilary (Juliet Mills, Avanti!) come to America to sell their prize Hereford bull at an auction. When he is purchased by Bowen, a wild Scotsman (Brian Keith, Something Big), the women hire a footloose cowhand named Burnett (James Stewart, Bend of the River, Night Passage) to help them transport the animal to its new owner. So begins an adventure that tests the mettle of all involved as they battle killers, stampedes and each other. But when they reach Bowen’s ranch, even greater obstacles force them to summon up extraordinary courage, if they, and the prize bull, are to survive. This wonderful frontier comedy co-stars western legends Ben Johnson (The Wild Bunch), Jack Elam (Support Your Local Gunfighter) and Harry Carey Jr. (Man of the East)."

The Runner Stumbles - Available for pre-order from Kino Lorber direct DVD $11.97, Blu-Ray $17.97

Release date: March 17th, 2020

"From Stanley Kramer, the acclaimed director of Not as a Stranger, On the Beach, Inherit the Wind, Judgment at Nuremberg, Ship of Fools, The Defiant Ones and It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, comes The Runner Stumbles, the final film in the legendary filmmaker’s career.

Television and screen legend Dick Van Dyke (Mary Poppins, The Dick Van Dyke Show) stars in this moving and powerful drama about a priest accused of murdering the nun with whom he had fallen in love.

Inspired by a real-life murder case, the story focuses on Father Rivard (Van Dyke), a priest banished to a dreary, poverty-stricken coal mining town for his radical views.

His life is suddenly changed by the arrival of Sister Rita (Kathleen Quinlan, Warning Signs, Breakdown), a vivacious young nun who immediately sets the town talking with her open, unorthodox behavior.

But soon talk turns to vicious gossip and tragedy as the self-righteous townsfolk come to believe the love between the nun and the priest is more than just spiritual.

Maureen Stapleton (Reds), Beau Bridges (The Landlord), Ray Bolger (The Wizard of Oz) and Tammy Grimes (Play It as It Lays) co-star in this compelling, intelligent and ambitious film that expertly builds to its surprising ending."
