Seeing as Powerhouse have a deal with Columbia i wonder if there's any chance of them releasing The Creeping Flesh?

It'd look stunning no doubt as the US Columbia dvd looks better than several Blu's i've seen.

I think that would be on a lot of horror fans ‘most wanted’ lists.

Because of that I can’t help thinking that it must be unavailable to PH or perhaps some other reason for its no-show, because I think they would have otherwise released it by now.

Perhaps if Michael wanders by and sees these posts he might have some information.

I’d like to think they are working on a bells and whistles release as imho it’s one of the best gothics out there

It's been requested a gazillion times over the years, but as far as I'm aware the UK rights simply aren't available (I seem to recall that they're tied up with the notorious Kevin Francis), and the US rights are with Mill Creek.

Thanks for the reply, Michael. Such a shame some rights holders are difficult to deal with.

Hopefully, KF will eventually see sense and cash in on his assets

I have it on a Mill Creek triple-bill with two other films (Torture Garden and The Brotherhood of Satan I believe). Despite the fact that it shares a disc with two other feature-length films, it looks pretty good. A stand-alone release would be preferable though.

Kevin Francis? Say no more.

Time to put the Columbia dvd back on it's soft pillow and return it to the safe.

I have that disc. Supposedly R1 although I found out to my surprise the other day it appears to actually be region free.
Seems quite pricey now but I think got it for about 7 or 8 quid at the time.
