All the VIPCO range of titles were released fully uncut in Denmark.

Is Mike Lee still releasing films.?

I noticed that the majority of VIPCO titles were submitted to the BBFC by Horror UK but the later release of Cannibal Holocaust was submitted under the name of Mike Lee .

Would hate to think such a character had thrown in the towel completely.

With VIPCO now 'resting' i've noticed alot of their titles re appear with cover art on some major retailers shelves.
They're even appearing in niffty 2 film box sets with artwork for each film.
I bought one single and one double and checked them against my Vaults releases to find just one difference, the name ' Blackhorse Ent' next to the VIPCO name.
Have 'Blackhorse Ent' now got rights to VIPCO's catalogue .?
I was under the impression that Mike Lee was thinking of reforming.
Anyone know anything on the matter.?

As far as I know Vipco (RIP) is gone which is a shame. Thank god for Shameless! Any other Vippys out there with the exception of the chap on here (above), are frauds so this "Blackhorse Entertainment" are probably as dodgy as a Schnaas movie.

My faves are:
Virus Canibale (ZCF)
Zombie Tosh (Nosh)
The Mutilator
Nostril Picker
Blade In The Dark
Rats: Night Of Terror
Island Of Perversion (Death)

Not too hot on the Zombie/cannibal films as they are severly cut!

I thought Vipco's House Of Doom series were their best. All uncut and ( as far as I'm aware ) unavailable elsewhere at the time.

Very kind of you to say so Lucio, and Happy Birthday mate.

I have always had a soft spot for ZCF and Rats NOT and was pleased to see VIPCO restore the hostage footage that was missing from ZCF in the Merlin vhs I have.
I totally agree with you Mojo that the House series are excellent and definitely worth owning.

Blackhorse are appearing everywhere recently and are listed as distributor for VIPCO's Cannibal Holocaust 25th Ed.
As they plan to release this film themselves in July, I hope they translate the written section about the camera operator who sells the footage into English language this time, as apart from that and the cuts, the print is pretty good, especially when compared to VIPCO's earlier release of CH.

I read somewhere that Mike Lee was thinking of restarting VIPCO, anybody else know anything about this.?

Blackhorse are also re-releasing The Burning (which is now in widescreen apparently).
