I never really thought much of Satanic Rites... but I would still buy a decent release of it. If one ever emerges!

Actually, I'm so slack Ive just noticed that Hearn has a new Hammer book out now as well, "Hammer Glamour", (you can tell I read forums much or spend a lot of time on the internet these days, hey?) and that looks like a plus.

Thoughts?

I've never read Hammer Story, but I bought Hammer Glamour for an essay. That book is of an incredible quality - hardbacked, huge and full coloured. Lots and lots of pictures! It only focuses on the women of these hammer films, with a page or so on each star. Not that much info, but a lot of picutres!

Yeah, he takes long enough to figure it out!

Bought Hammer Glamour for 'research purposes', eh? I've heard that one before.

Surely Warner, or whoever, have got to give Satanic Rites a DVD release at some point, Hammer fans must be clamoring for it.I know I am, it's one of my favourites amongst Hammer's Dracula series.

I've still got my ABUS single disc of Satanic Rites. A few lines and the odd frame jump here and there but it looks pretty good all things considered. It could do with a UK release though but maybe it's a bit of a gamble with all the cheapo versions around. You can still pick up the ABUS 2-disc with Dracula POD and it's definitely worth grabbing although the Aussie disc is supposed to be just as good.

Pretty annoyed here. Picked up a copy of the AB 'Satanic' on ebay from the USA for about £6. But when it arrived it was just one of the many versions out there. Seems the seller used the AB version cover he'd just cut and pasted from the web. Thought I had a real bargain there.
