I hope so. The Arrow Bavas have been great and a pleasure to upgrade my two Anchor Bay Bava box sets which look like they might fall asunder at any given moment...

I never got around to watching the full contents of my Bava Boxes! Just the one's that interested me and I've still not watched Erik the Conqueror either. I hope The Girl Who Knew Too Much comes out in 2014 I really liked that and of course Blood and Black Lace if a decent master has ever been found.

Planet of the Vampires is a big one for me, my favourite film of the maestro's I think. I thought Erik the Conqueror was decent enough, certainly better than Bava's westerns which were no great shakes - you look for Bava touches in them but there pretty anonymous looking spaghetti's. Jeez, I have not seen Blood and Black Lace in years now, I must try get in a screening over the next few days.

Koyaaniqatsi is easily the one I'm most excited for. Love that movie

He means the pre-order prices of stuff like Kidnapped, which will increase in a few weeks.

£10.99 each and £13.99 for the steelbook. Cheaper than what they will be on release.

I hope no-one got commission for desigining that Kidnapped artwork.

They're waiting on a piece from Graham Humphreys!

I'll echo the disappointment re: The Invasion of the Bodysnatchers artwork on the steel.

They've just duplicated a shot of the running figures in silhouette and whacked a messy tie-die design over the top from the looks of it. Another Arrow steel I won't be whipping my wallet (or anything else out) for.

I find that they're really hit and miss when it comes to their steelbook art. Blow Out and Foxy Brown were also hideous, although, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and as long as there is another option (and there is) then I'm happy(ish).

It's actually an image from one of the theatrical posters.
