So I just found out that Shout's 4K discs of Brotherhood of the Wolf & The People under the Stairs are both region locked.

This is in direct violation of the 4K standard. What the hell were Shout thinking? Glad I didn't order either of these.

It's not. And like I said, it's in voilation of the agreed standard for 4K UHD. It would seem that they got it to flag the region code of the blu-ray drive and if it shows region B, locks the 4K disc to region A.
