Some comments from customers who have received their copy of the new Shout disc of Fear City.

Quote:
Some huge changes with the new release. Does appear to be a new transfer. Does not appear stretched. Looks very organic. Original shout disc was 1.57:1 aspect ratio, this one is 1:85:1. Checked the first Unrated scene and the quality is just as good as the rest of the film, no VHS quality.
Quote:
I received it yesterday, and the quality is great on both cuts. The disc is 42.1gb on a BD-50. Just browsing through the Unrated transfer I see no signs of any VHS inserts. No bonus features at all, but we do get optional English subtitles (for both cuts) now. This looks to be a very solid upgrade over the old release.
