I paid 40 for my region free blu ray player.

If any company can put out decent releases its second sight though I'm not a big fan of some of their artwork either. Especially that horrific From Beyond cover.

They seem to be around £100 at the minute, the hackable Toshiba's have shot right up in price recently

Damn That sux. Honestly I wish they had taken the BLU format and done away with region locking. Its a needless pain in the ass.

Just think how much more money Scream Factory could be making if their titles wren't locked to region A.
Have you guys looked into actual Region B titles that have unlock codes? The cheapest advertised region free player I could find was $600, but I looked up the name of the cheapest regiom B blu ray player avalible at my local store, Soniq BD100, and put region unlock code after, and found out that you could unlock it, but putting numbers into the remote when the disc tray was open.

Yeah, I do a search at least once a week, hard pushed to find one now for under £100.

Now that Arrow have started locking their titles, I've noticed a few people on their Facebook page complaining about it, swings and roundabouts I guess

EDIT: This is my 5000th post, doesn't seem that long since I reached 4000, I spend far too much time on here ha ha

Yeah, they could be making more money, but it's the film studios and their insistance on region locking in order to wring every last penny they can from a film, that's are the problem.

Yikes . They were really on a roll with their newly commissioned artwork, until Prison hit, and from then onwards they've just been diabolically bad. From being so on the money to being so wide of the mark, crazy.
