I think the best would be the classic Zombie Vs Shark scene from Zombie Flesh Eaters.

In fact, I liked it so much that i got it tattooed on me! Excuse the crappy photo, it's really hard to take a photo of it because it's in an awkward position.

As for the worst, I'd have to say the entirety of an atrocious film called Children of the Living Dead. Not even Tom Savini and a zombie wearing wing tips could save it.

EDIT: AAAAND after reading through the thread properly i've realised I'm not the only one who hated Children of the Living Dead!!!

Thanks! Not very long at all. I think all up it was about 3-3.5 hours. It's a shame I can't get a good photo of it cause it just doesn't do it justice. It looks even better now because that arm is a full sleeve.

And I just thought of another scene that has to rank as one of the best (there are just too many!). The part in Shockwaves where the zombie nazis first rise out of the water. It's just so eerie and atmospheric!

I would choose two scenes.

For me, the best Zombie scene ever is that part in the original Night of the Living Dead where we see those things eat the intestines from the people in the car wreck. The movie is from 1968, but this black and white scene is still gruesome, shocking, and gory in 2011 - classy.

This is followed closely by the first appearance of Guthrie in The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue - very creepy and moody.

Greetings!

Time's up guys! Slightly earlier than normally.

Some excellent entries this week, as usual, with some great zombie films being discussed. Zombies rule!

The winners this week are - in no particular order...

InDogWeTrust! Well done!

Demdike! Congratulations!

and Victhulhu Wahey!

A huge well done to all the winners this week - it was a much more layed back and chilled comp than last weeks. Ha, that's for sure. (fo' show).

I'm off to the zoo in a bit - a la Braindead - so the next competition may not be up until tomorrow. The prize contains a certain Linda Blair.

In the meantime however, if you havent yet entered the extra competition running at the moment, go check it out. You could win The Twilight Zone box set! - http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/orig...06-2011-a.html

Toodles!

Kyle
