Exactly. ;)

Harry Sullivan!!

Ahem. Reread his Ark In Space novelisation. Wow. If only that's what they had filmed.....;)

Now reading the Underworld Target novel. This is the completely CSO background one isn't it?? Ok story, Leela goes all wistful at one point haha.

Also rewatched Four To Doomsday, as I'm lending a mate my Davison stories shortly. Well, at least it's nae Timeflight

Had a spending spree at HMV and bought The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. However I also expanded my classic Doctor Who collection. I got-

. An Unearthly Child (finally!)
. The Daleks
. The Edge of Destruction
. The Ribos Operation
. The Pirate Planet
. The Stones of Blood
. The Androids of Tara
. The Power of Kroll
. The Armageddon Factor
. The Curse of Fenric

Only had time for one tonight though, so why not: I started where it all began!

First impression afterwards was that the first episode was a masterpiece, then it sort of went downhill, then improved again, but not to the standard of episode 1.

Episode 1: Great
Episode 2: Terrible
Episode 3: Improving
Episode 4: Good

I once tried to watch The Daleks on Netflix many years ago. I got to part 6. I hope its better this time.

Cunningly worded. ;) Looks a lot more than saying i got The Beginning set, The Key to Time and The Curse of Fenric.

Hope you enjoy The Daleks more this time. Personally i love it.

Ditto.

Great haul btw. Watched Ribos and Pirate Planet to cater for my Tamm addiction.....Enjoy!!

Presumably there will be more stories to come

Although this is good news for fans of classic Dr Who (i.e PROPER Who), I'm a bit disappointed that they have not chosen to show all the stories in chronological order, the way that UKGold used to do in the late 90's/early 00's
