Some may think me crazy but i really like the Gel Guards from The Three Doctors.

One of my fave Who monsters.

Each to their own.

Within the restraints of the programme, Omega and Azael are excellent villains imo. Total lunatics. Not rivalled until Davros.

Not Omega. The Doctors should have seen through him straight away. ;)

As an anniversary special, it works. I liked it a lot, the Pertwee/Troughton double act is worth watching it for alone, let alone all the other good stuff.

Wait till you get to The Two Doctors.

The way Colin and Pat spar off each other is hilarious...

...oh actually it isn't because they barely shared a scene together.

Frickin' stupid script. :tsk:

I actually like that one, but the main two issues I have with it is lack of the two Doctors meeting/engaging and the embarrassing Sontarans. I like Sontarans but they get completely wasted in that Story.

Wish they had called it 'The Complete 12th Series' instead of 'The Complete Season 12'

Too much pandering to an American audience!

I've really gone back and forth on buying this.

I have all the dvds of the classic series up to the Paul McGann special then I have blu-rays of everything from the new series.

I really don't like the idea of starting again from scratch and possibly getting half way into a collection only for them to stop releasing anymore, plus with this type of packaging they wouldn't even fit in next to the new series blu-rays anyway.

That being said there seems to be some new decent extras and I know that when they get around to the 1980's episodes, which was my favourite era of the show, it will be even harder to resist.
