Take the names Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian out of that trailer and it's just another bog standard CGI action fest. However the three mentioned may well have a bit of spark about them perhaps in the dialogue scenes.

It didn't move me one iota. Perhaps if they'd used original saga Stormtroopers it might have felt real. I mean. Did the Empire change their uniforms every year. It's not the England football team, although Disney treat it like it is.

The love fest will begin. Those effects were just stunning. This is the best Star Wars film since....

The Last Jedi.

One word. Alden Ehrenreich Is this guy Han Solo.

Does he look like Han Solo.

Is their a striking resemblance to Harrison Ford.

Can this guy actually act. Where's a good acting coach when you need her/him.

Where's Kathleen Kennedy? Probably writing her resignation letter.

Probably hiding after The Last Jedi's dismal display.

Hopefully this film will be a testament to how atrocious these Disney/Star Wars films are. It's just another nail in the coffin for Star Wars.

A dissenting voice?. So the honeymoon period is officially over then?

I would dump both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi right out of you're Top Ten Symbiotic. They don't even deserve to be in positions 8 an 7. Disgusting, shocking and damn right disrespecting the Star Wars legacy. What is this world coming too.

Next will have Chewbacca coming out as bi-sexual.

I'm not quite sure what to make of your hatred of the last two Star Wars films. The vehemence with which you attack them and those involved in their production is something I would reserve for someone who torched my car or beat up a family member, not a film!

It'll be interesting to see how Solo is received. If there is another negative fan reaction, it's not inconceivable to imagine Kathleen Kennedy being removed from her head of Lucasfilm position. Disney paid 4 billion dollars so I should imagine that they take the latest Star Wars fan opinions extremely seriously. btw hivemind, what did you think of Rogue One?

My inner Withnail is going bananas at me.

You'll have to be put in a flipping straight jacket after watching The Last Jedi Dem. The only cure is drinking 60 Whisky shots.

After waking up, you'll believe it was all just a bad dream.

Alden Ehrenreich doesn't look like Harrison Ford.

He can definitely act as I thought he was brilliant in Hail, Caesar! and Stoker. I'm looking forward to seeing Rules Don't Apply whenever that's conveniently available because I don't want to pick it up as a blind buy.

Nothing like a little bit of controversy. Good job we're not all the same Nosferatu.

It would be a rather bland world indeed.
