P.S. I'm loving The Freak Brothers pic.
The Police were very, very good and easily stole the festival, but the year before... 1978...
before they were The Eurythmics Annie and Mr Stewart played as The Tourists during the afternoon and were note perfect, Sham 69 ripped thru tunes with a fury, The Jam played at night and rocked it (tho Weller sang like he was angry, but it made the songs 'bite' more and fit with the punk vibe) so for me 1978 was the best, but for pure musicality Nirvana blew the roof off in the early 90s (that was my last festival for many years as I found the vast police presence at odds with my lifestyle at the time) ahem

Due to the number of concussions he has sustained over the years, Daniel Bryan has announced his retirement from wrestling

Oh dear!

This smacks of desperation

It's been announced that Shame O'Mac will face The Undertaker in a 'Hell In A Cell' match at Wrestlemania 32

The stipulation is...if Shane wins, he gains control of the Raw brand!!

Those were the days... nothing like that now, I will be gobsmacked if WWE sellout all 120,000 seats at full price at the Wrestlemania stadium, and when Roman wins... the crowd will still Boo the poor guy.

The process by which inductees are selected is not always obvious, and the criteria for induction have never been disclosed, other than the person must have made their first appearance in the ring 20 years ago.

Although the Hall (in theory) honours those with important WWE careers, since it's revival in 2004 some inductees (such as Harley Race, Verne Gagne and Nick Bockwinkel) achieved much of their success outside of WWE, though the companies where they did achieve their success are now largely part of the WWE

The question should be: "why have people like Drew Carey, Mr. T, Mike Tyson and Donald Trump(!) been inducted into the hall?"
