Caiman are faster than a lot of UK sellers, that's including big ones like Play.com.

You're not kidding there - I ordered 3 DVDs in October 08 which they obviously can't supply but they're still in my orders in my account! Play are nowhere near as good as they used to be but can be quite cheap. If it's not in stock though, you may as well not bother

On the subject of DVD Legacy, I'm getting a bit of a sinking feeling, what with those 'too good to be true' prices and their biting the dust but hopefully I'll be proved wrong...

Yeah... they do look like they're circling the drain a bit. Movie Mars seem to be going the same way...

Don't get me started on Play... if a title's obscure and not in stock chances are you will never get it. I had a couple of Redemption titles on pre-order and they took 3 months to source them!

I still have one waiting but I don't hold out much hope for that one... it's been 4 months already

Plus I have had the OOP AB release of Blood on Satan's Claw on order from HMV since November at the bargain price of £5.99... I'll be shocked if they find that one!

The kicker is that I used to own that very edition, but traded it 3 years ago!

The flip side of the coin with play, is that if you've ordered a mainstream title, chances are you will get it before the release date... which is nice

Well... I know there will always be a few Hollywood films that will spark my interest but most of my purchases are more, ahem 'obscure' titles...

For instance I will be purchasing Watchmen, when that is available, plus have pre-ordered Aronofsky's latest The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke. That said the other day I received one of MYA's latest 'The Scorpion with Two Tails' followed shortly by the new Wallace & Gromit that was on at Xmas... so I'm all over the place with my ordering!

I like old Hollywood stuff up until the 80's, and after that i couldn't really give a dam with a few exceptions ( like Wallace and Gromitt ). I only really use the net for the obscure stuff.
