Anyone know if there's more than one poundland in Leeds? Hal 22?

Also got Body Melt for ?5 in HMV. Anyone seen this? Looked like it might have some good old school effects from the back cover shots.

Was also tempted by Brian Yuzna's Rottweiler, does anyone know if this is worth ?6 whole pounds?
Would you let me know if Switch Killer's any good Fresh, as i've seen this knocking round HMV thoug the price varies from 3 to 5 quid.
Still cheap if its a good film.

Hey Vips,

I've pencilled in Aquanoids or Frontiers or both for tonight but should watch Switch Killer fairly soon. Will let you know if it's any good or not! Think someone else on this thread said it wasn't too bad.

Think that was me Yeah, it's fairly decent, I enjoyed it anyway. Theres plenty of gore, a pretty original story line and lots (and i mean lots) of naked girls Well worth a quid, if you can get it for between 3 and 5 quid vip's I'd go for it mate.

The only Shriek Collection title I currently own is their release of 'Nutbag', I bought it a while ago from CEX for 50p, I didn't know at the time that the UK release is really heavily butchered I was gonna pick up a bunch of them from HMV but Poundland started stocking the Hard Gore versions round about the same time.

HMV have a pretty decent sale on at the moment. I'm thinking of going and picking up Pan's Labyrinth for 4 pound, All the boys love mandy Lane 7 pound and Rambo for a tenner (which I've been meaning to get for ages).

Sat through 3 Poundland specials this week

Switch Killer Entertaining in the so bad it's good kind of way
Psycho Sisters No Oscars to be handed out in this one. Easily the most consistently bad acting I have ever seen throughout 1 film in my entire life. Good cheap fun with the usual gore and nudity expectancy levels!!
Last Cannibal World Great film. Minus all the animal cruelty of course (a good thing for me) and a little bit of the BBFC unfriendly sexual violence but well made and acted. Those previous 2 films probably didn't help my judgement!!

Has anyone bought and watched Hitch Hike to Hell or Butchered? What are they like? (The only 2 I have left!!!)

I watched Psycho Sisters earlier tonight. It was pretty crap, that first scene was a bit of a shocker though that guy getting his penis cut off OUCH! wasn't expecting that

I bought Hitch Hike to Hell and Butchered but haven't got round to watching them yet. I watched the trailer for Butchered on one of the other discs and it looked quite entertaining. Still, a three minute trailer and the full 80 odd minute film might be two very different things

I've watched two so far. One was 666 Revealed which was a fairly interesting documentary. And the other was Fulci's Cat In The Brain which though not bad it wasn't as good as I had hoped for. It tried too hard in my opinion. I'll maybe post up a review over the next day or 2 and expand on that a bit.
