Don't think they're meant to have the first Creepshow in to be honest.

Picked up Return To Horror High today. I know it's supposed to be terrible, but I just feel like I need to have a copy in the collection.

Finally had something decent in the Halifax store, picked up COTC and Creepshow 2, didn't bother getting the 3 Hellraisers as I've got the puzzle box set from a few years back

My local Co-Op has brought in a few cheap halloween discs. Most of them are the usual suspects that you would expect to turn up, but I did manage to get Hammer's The Damned (1963) complete with booklet for the princely sum of £2.99. I haven't watched it yet, but anything with Olly Reed has got to be worth a watch.

Edit: I should point out that this is the uncut 95 minute version, so get one before they are all gone!

Interesting. Don't have that one because I've been meaning to get the R1 Suspense collection. Was it a big Co Op or one of those small local ones? I've got a small one not far from here but don't venture in there much.

It was one of the larger ones, but it is worth having a look in your local one just incase they do have it in stock.

Cool

Picked up the book PUBLIC ENEMIES by Bryan Burrough in my local Poundshop, left it on the shelf a few times as I thought it was just a tie-in to the Depp flick, but in reality it's a cracker, telling the story of the 30s gangsters that became legendary American outlaws. A colourful account of the early days of the FBI and the war on those bank robbing gangs that roamed the backroads on a murderous crime spree. You get a real feeling of the individual gangsters personality(good and bad) well worth a read.
