Can I take it that you have come across her 'classics' Butterfly and The Lonely Lady?

I know what you mean, it's been over twenty years since I saw either and I'm still on medication for them.
Demoncrat likes this.

Personally, I'm not really bothered if she can act or not.

Would this be a bad time to admit that I actually own one of her records?

Anyhoo, back on topic, picked up City Of War: The Story Of John Rabe from Poundworld today, which is one I can tick of my wish list. They also had GI Joe: The Movie but left that one, as I never did think it was as good as the Transformers movie.

Not dull exactly but just so incredibly naff. A shot of this girl running along a beach was about as funny as it got.

Hi Dream Demon. I watched City of War a couple of weeks ago. Its very good. Not the sort of film you would associate with Poundland.

Our local Poundland had one copy of Army of Crime, another WW2 set thriller, starring Virginie Ledoyen. Well worth a pound imo.

I bought the Great Ecstasy of Robert Carmichael from Poundland yesterday, which boasts 'an outstanding performance from Danny Dyer at his most viscious, malevolent and ferocious best' - praise indeed !

I've since looked this one up and it sounds pretty nasty and has provoked some quite strong reactions - might be an interesting watch.

I recently bought a documentary about Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath and jeeez - it was terrible! Containing absolutly no music from either, no interviews and not even any footage of them, this 'documentary' is just useless. And to top it all off, it's presented by the single most annoying person in the history of the world. Don't pick this up from poundland!

ah, those awful unauthorised docs are a pain, they take up too much shelf space (which could be filled with Pontypool, HOTD etc)
