Not long received shipping confirmation from Amazon.com concerning my R1 HWAS double DVD and if i enjoy the film as much as i hope to then Magnet's BR edition will be another essential purchase in the future.

If this is indeed the case then i'll just grab Momentum's U.K. BR when the price comes down. I'm assuming the R2 DVD will therefore also be identical to it's R1 counterpart? The potential superiority of the U.S. release over the U.K. edition was another reason i decided to buy the Stateside HWAS as i was not intending to be ripped-off by the possibility of an inferior British issue.

Well, as this is apparently verified it looks like i'll be buying the U.K. HWAS release after all. Only not just yet but sometime later on in the sales.

I had spare voucher so ended up paying £6.95 for the UK blu!

I laugh at how guradain and dauily mail gave this a bad review.
Daily mail called it "junk"

That's awesome. I bought the US blu as I was incorrectly informed it was region free. Luckily my housemate was away, so I stole his player to watch it. Sold it on now and pre-ordered the UK version.

Ouch you should check on planet Axel before you purchase as they test it.

Eye for Film : Hobo With A Shotgun Movie Review (2011) - my review for the film. Wish they hadn't released it in summer, seems like a waste, hardly anyone will see it in cinemas, where it goes down a storm.

Still great to have it in the UK tho!
