On to O now.
The version of Once Upon A Time in America is the version I owned on VHS.The closest release to the original art of the Thorn Emi rental tape, which was almost impossible to find in good nick!
Also, take a look at the classic artwork of OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN....Another title which was virtually impossible to find in good condition.Like the picture shown, most had a bloody labe across the rat or the bare arse!
The copied I owned had a big red video store stamp right across her cheeks!
Another title which was found rummaging one Sunday down Glasgow's infamous Barras market!

Great stuff Reaps.

The WB sleeves really do stir some memories. I think everyone had loads of Warners stuff as a pre-cert collector.

Did you ever manage to get The Rise And Fall Of Legs Diamond? One tape I've never seen in the flesh (or should that be Mylar?) in all my years of collecting. The 18 (not X) rated versions of The Exorcist and Friday 13th are similarly scarce.

Those covers bring back a lot of memories - all of them good. A lot are the same as we had down here, but some are different. 'Of Unknown Origin' had that shredded framed pic that's on the back, as the cover. 'Once Upon a Time in America' had a really nice black cover, with minimal artwork, and it was a double tape. I remember 'Looker' also had a totally different cover - has that had a dvd release?
Re. double tapes, did you have the Hellraiser & Hellraiser 2 double pack, over there, where the tapes were side by side?

No on sell thru the Hellraiser titles were released by the unbelievably large label known as Cinema Club and put out on seperate cases.
