I read that too quick and thought you meant you wanted Shameless to release GIALLO.

From what we've heard about it, Nick & I aren't entirely sure that we want to even watch the thing...

Maybe sticking it in one of those snazzy yellow cases will help its reputation........then again, probably not!

Sorry to harp on about it, but Death Laid An Egg is so good and so strange and ideal Shameless fodder. It needs rediscovery and release. There would be no BBFC issues at all.

I don't know what the rights situation is - it's hardly been released anywhere! There have been a few VHS releases in Europe and there was a Japanese Laserdisc.

An absolute (well known) classic looking for a release there.
There are lots more well known and very good giallo's who are in desperate need of a dvd release (or a better one ).
What gets frustrating is when you see flawed or just plain bad "Euro-cult" movies getting very good (often multiple) releases on dvd while these struggle to get even one.
For example there are at least 5 dvd releases of Cannibal Terror (1981) and none of Lenzi's Orgasmo (1969)...

"Perfume of the Lady in Black" would be one of my favourites. It would be nice to see it encased in a Shameless yellow cover. It's not your usual type of giallo by any means - it's sort of an Italian giallo version of "Rosemary's Baby" - but I love its mysterious, paranoid atmosphere.

Nice a-typical giallo but there's already a very nice (English friendly) dvd from Raro.

Some Martino's please, if you're looking at Giallo's. Failiing that, some Argento's. But I think Arrow foresaw that...

Are the Wilson's now offering a clairvoyant service..?
