I'm pleased with my copy of The Last Hunter. So before I double-dip, I was thinking more a film i'm having trouble finding a DVD of, such as:

The Hunters Of The Golden Cobra
Tiger Joe
Panic
Miami Golem

Getting nostalgic for those old Vipco titles again mate?

ZOMBIE LAKE and OASIS OF THE ZOMBIES would make great ARROW revamps.

I recently bought the Synapse version through a UK seller. It's a fun low-budget watch, which I just know I'll be revisiting regularly when I'm gin-soaked .
I'd be surprised if it had a problem getting through now though. Some gory stuff sure (the throat rippings are pretty well done), but nothing the 'Hostel/Saw' crowd couldn't stomach.
Mind you, I doubt the extra 'My sweet Satan' would grace any UK release. Close up nipple piercing and the most vicious head stomping I've seen since Lance Henrikson in 'Dead Man'.

Jim Van Bebbers other feature The Manson Family got through the bbfc intact and IMO it's a lot more violent than Dead Beat At Dawn, which is a great film, so it should have no problems. I believe the problem the bbfc had origonally was that it had no moral grounding and was just violence for violence sake (and it is pretty violent).

I wish Van Bebber would get off his arse and make another film sometime. I guess it's pretty hard to get funding for his kind of stuff though.

My Sweet Satan was passed by the BBFC uncut in 2001, although the DVD was never released. They only cut the head stomping and eye stabbing in 1999.

Initially, the BBFC told UK distributor Exploited it would be passed removing sight of nunchuks and a few bits and bobs here and there. Exploited took the cuts list and altered the film, then ran off thousands of VHS tapes (this was the late 90's) ready for distribution. Ferman then overruled the decision and rejected it completely, leaving Exploited with a ton of stock they couldn't sell. This essentially bankrupted Exploited who went out of business soon after. That's how the affair was reported all those years ago, anyway. Well done, Ferman.
