Been looking for this for years! Used to have it on the old EV VHS:

Whodunit?/Scared Alive/Island Of Blood

Songs like "Boil me, boil me, boil me .. face to face!" Has to be seen to be believed.

Took some finding the trailer!

Had a soft spot for this movie to:

Humongous

Would love to see the original UK VHS packaging with the eye too

I have the pre-cert video of Humongus. Vastly underrated and deserving of a good release!

Well there goes my lack of non Argento giallo knowledge! Never heard of it, but just read some reviews and it sounds atmospheric.

How about a UK release of the outstanding pop art giallo "Deadly Sweet" from Tinto Brass. This is a gem of a film and made me smile from beginning to end.

LA BAMBOLA DI SATANA is more like a krimi-giallo hybrid (it's got a guy dressed in a hooded outfit running around). Ooh, plus it's already, um, subbed...right, bdc? Lol

Likeable giallo with a bit of a gothic or even krimi feel.
Subs do exist for the old Italian vhs release.
However there seems to be missing info on the sides of the picture and also some footage seems to be misplaced.

I think this is a good description:
"Similar to 1967's Assassino Senza Volto in its melding of classical Gothic trappings with the giallo thriller elements just coming into renewed vogue, this castle-set horror mystery from Italian filmmaker Ferruccio Casapinta benefits from a slicker look and a better sense of humor. Casapinta lays on the atmosphere thick and heavy, with thunderstorms, howling wolves, and a Hammer Films-inspired score by Franco Potenza to heighten the mood. It all seems a bit overwrought, but fans of Italian horror don't come to it for subtlety. Indeed, the nearly operatic histrionics on display are immensely enjoyable..."

I do wonder how they forgot to mention Erna Schurer's (looking gorgeous here) nude scenes?

Trying to keep it civil...
