Hatchet 2, the sequel to Adam Green’s New Orleans slasher movie features a cast of horror genre alumni that will delight any stalk ‘n’ slash movie lover. Candyman Tony Todd has a starring role, as does Halloween 4 and Urban Legend scream queen Danielle Harris, but for many horror lovers, the casting of an unmasked Kane Hodder is a real draw.
Hodder is the only performer to have donned the hockey mask more than once to play the horror icon Jason Voorhees and, in Hatchet 2, he gets a chance to play more than a lumbering hulk of supernatural death, as he portrays both Victor Crowley, the local swamp legend and misshapen mutant who slays anyone who wanders the bayou at night and his psychologically disturbed father.
