The Walken as McBain

With only 13 days left until Arrowdrome’s release of the action-packed 90′s film McBain is released, what better time to celebrate it’s leading star then now. There are but a handful of actors who are instantly recognisable and unique in every way and, along with Arnie, Vincent Price and Christopher Lee, few can compare to the awesomeness that is Christopher Walken. With a whole host of movies under his belt, including the classic Deer Hunter, King Of New York, the 007-fest A View To A Kill and of course Speilberg’s Catch Me If You Can he is a god among actors. He’s also the victim of countless stand-up gags and a whole array of impersinations from the likes of Robin Williams to Whose Line Is It Anyway? But if there’s one comedy sketch that always leaves me in stiches it’s ‘Cooking With Christopher Walken’ from the down-under TV show The Wedge.

So, don that blond wig, stick on a suit and constantly pause during……..mid-sentence when you see The Walken in the brilliant cult film, McBain out on DVD on the 19th of September.
