National Lampoon

Toga! Toga! Toga!

Starting as a humor publication in 1970, National Lampoon have since become a name known and loved throughout the entire world. With their unbeatable satire, surrealist tomfoolery and quick fire wit they were responsible for some of the most iconic comedies of the 1970s and 80s and are still going strong to this day. Founded by a couple of Havard graduates, the world was first introduced to the monthly humor magazine in April of 1970 where its popularity grew and grew to unbelievable proportions as the decade continued. Known for mixing intellectual comedy with crude gags, National Lampoon was the humor magazine and became a staple of American comedy with the aid of such incredible artwork as the one picture. Always attempting to push the boundaries further and further, National Lampoon’s most recent film Dirty Movie is by far their most outrageous. Offending every race, age, minority and everyone in between, it makes Borat and South Park look like the Chucklebrothers! Forget plot, this film is nothing more than a joke movie – one joke after another! Always hillarious and often shocking, these jokes are very much on the risque side of things.
