A Scientific Breakthrough!

A huge scientific breakthrough was made this week, as I’m sure you’re well aware of already. A discovery that could change the future dramatically. A discovery that is so incredible, sciency folks around the world are all celebrating. Yes, that’s right, I’m talking about cat poo. According to a new theory, a Dr. Teodor Postolache has seen a trend and a connection between suicidal thoughts and kitty litter boxes. A parasite known as Toxoplasma Gondi which is often found in feline poop, has been attributed to effecting a person’s personality resulting in depression, worry, sadness and impulsiveness. What’s more is that apparently a surprisingly large majority of people is unknowingly walking around with this bacteria inside them! What a discovery!

Oh and something about a God Particle too. Whatever.

The Rise And Fall Of A White Collar Hooligan - OUT NOW!

Britain has been stealing the limelight of the world recently, what with the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympics just around the corner. So, in keeping with this patriotism, the brilliant new British film, The Rise and Fall of a White Collar Hooligan was released earlier this week. A perfect film to get over those England related Football blues, the film is a fantastic and gripping crime thriller with interesting characters, a great story and superb direction. The Message and Lion Of The Desert- OUT NOW!

Also out this week are two great moments from past Hollywood. If you’ve ever seen such momentous classic films as Lawrence Of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago you’ll know just exactly how massive these epic movies are. The Message and Lion Of The Desert, both starring screen legend Anthony Quinn, are out now on stunning Blu-Ray (and DVD). The quality of these films will blow you away! So, take a break from the mucky world of exploitation cinema and stick on something with as much awe-inspiring magnitude as these films.

Zombie 108 – Out 30th July

The zombie boom has somewhat died down recently. When The Walking Dead hit TV screens, the uncontrollable bout of living dead films, music, books, games, clothes, etc began to whimper off back to the crypts. Well, Taiwan has joined the zombie genre – better late than never – with a completely bonkers movie. Zombie 108 is trashy, over the top and very gory in all the best ways! Out at the end of the month, this is one zombie film to really brighten up your summer (even if the weather isnt that great!). God Bless America - Out Next Week!

Horray! Bobcat Goldtwait’s highly anticipated film, God Bless America is nearly out! Forget Hobo With A Shotgun. Forget The Exterminator. This, THIS is the ultimate vigilante movie. Seeking revenge on everything that’s wrong with modern culture, the film is a must see. Take a look at this awesome and exclusive clip taken from the special features of the DVD – it’s a parody of all that’s wrong with TV. Head here to check it and the offiicial God Bless America blog out. The film had its London Premiere on the 4th of July (very fitting) and went down a storm! I cannot recommend this film high enough!

I Am Bruce Lee - Out 23rd July

Ladies and gentlemen, after years of terrible and pathetic documentaries about the martial arts legend, Bruce Lee found at your local Poundland, a documentary to do him and his legacy justice is finally here! Containing incredibly rare footage and new interviews with a whole array of big names this is the ultimate documentary. It simply is jaw-dropping. Informative and entertaining – this is what Bruce Lee fans have been begging for! You need to pre-order this if you haven’t done so already! Some slightly sad news arrived from the Shameless headquaters this week. Unfortunately, the upcoming Pop Erotica Fest box set has been delayed. Instead the box set is now due out on the 20th August – which I’m sure will fly by.
