Agreed. Most people despised The Howling Reborn but I enjoyed it. That got a healthy amount of promotion on the site.

No - but I would! I'd even take along my acoustic and join in good and proper. Let the ale flow and bawdy songs begin - just my idea of a great night out!

And speaking of Wicker Man music - who was aware that Sneaker Pimps did a trip-hop version of How Do off the WM soundtrack? I only found out about it recently - it's quite good too and remains faithful to the original track.

I really like that cover version and hadn't heard about it until you posted it here; Kelli Dayton's voice is perfect for those lyrics and that type of song.

And when I say great night out, I don't mean a night out that ends up with me inside a burning Wicker Man. We can skip that part.

Lovefilm sent me the BD of The Wicker Tree, so that should provide some interesting watching this afternoon/evening. I shall report back.

You might not be able to see to report back. You'll have probably gouged your eyes out with a rusty spoon before the end of the film. Even that would be less painful than watching this shit.

I had to conceal any reaction like that knowing kindly old Robin Hardy was in the audience. Poor fella, where's Tony Shaffer when you need him (to write your film) . . .
