they may as well call it Halloween III and if its ignoring everything else, have it that Loomis was killed in the gas explosion in part 2

I don't know how I feel about this, tbh. How does this work? Don't like the idea of them retconning H20 out of existence, and won't this just be kind of a repeat of it either way? I don't see how they can just retcon Resurrection and not H20, as she killed Michael pretty definitively at the end of H20 otherwise. I guess they could just retcon it to say she survived Resurrection. I don't know, really. The continuity is going to be all over the fecking place even more than it is already.
I think I'd be happier with Danielle Harris coming back!

From what we can gather, they're pretending H20 and Resurrection never happened, and the new film will be a sequel to the original (or Halloween II), although no-one's quite sure. Tbh, I think it's a big mistake, and i'm disappointed that JLC would be ok with ignoring them, especially H20.
