Good film, first saw it back in 2005 on ITV 4 and later had the Network DVD.

I never realised the BBC print was censored, can you remember which parts were cut?

Like most people on this thread I first saw it on BBC 2 many years ago. I now own the R2 Network dvd and have watched it many times. Words cannot express just how good this film it is. Everything from the cast, locations (Damn the people who say New York would of made it better!), script, effects etc. If you haven't seen this film, get it NOW! Edit: Christopher Lee nearly steals the show with his cameo and the creature is played with real pathos, a genuinely pitiful performance. 5 out of 5.

Any chance of Arrow releasing Death Line (aka Raw Meat)? Seeing as Arrow are releasing some MGM owned titles like Lifeforce, Deranged, Motel Hell, etc, and Death Line is also (in the USA) an MGM title.

Not sure Vampix, Death Line here in the UK is not owned by MGM but by Network releasing. MGM owns the rights to it in the US under the Raw Meat title though but it's been OOP for a long time to my understanding.

First saw it partially on a late night BBC1 screening, but it was on so late I drifted off! Watched it in full last year when I borrowed the DVD - it's a real one-off, loved it! The two younger characters were a bit annoying, but Donald Pleasance was on top-form and I loved the Christopher Lee cameo. Pretty gory for its time. and the underground scenes were crammed with atmosphere.

Very effective at times but tbh I don't love it like I do, Dead and Buried.

Same here. I think many of the horror sequences are quite poorly handled, and the ending especially is a major damp squib. Pleasence is hilarious though . . .

A very underrated UK film. I never get tired of watching it. Some great comedy moments in it as well IIRC.
