Shit ! And I thought '82 was a tough choice.

Now you give me The Evil Dead, An American Werewolf in London, The Beyond, The Burning, The House by the Cemetery & The Howling.

This is a toughie. Okay I've narrowed it down to The Evil Dead and Werewolf. Werewolf had a nekkid Jenny Aguter, so it's in front at the moment.

Okay, so AAWIL was great, but it didn't scare me, so I'm going for The Evil Dead. Just that little song "We're gonna get you" sends shivers down my spine. Even now. Can't stand any of the sequels, but the original scared me silly.

The Evil Dead wins.

An American Werewolf in London. Perfect mix of comedy and horror. Plus the nurse is a hottie!

I think Possession is it. I do know it's way better than The Evil Dead. I really dislike The Evil Dead.

Errr. Thread title is "Your Favourite Horror Film from 1981".

You might want to amend your list to only include those from 1981

There are other threads for other years.
