BTW-Now that I've seen Wake In Fright,I reckon Mulcahy learned a thing or two from Kotcheff when it comes to outback 'toilet' towns....

Who picked up the Blu Ray and how does it look. The DVD i have looks great as it is some amazing camera work it was screaming out for a Blu Ray.

I got the BD as a Christmas gift. It's not too bad. It has a high bit-rate (averages around 35Mbps) but, as you know yourself, it is a very soft looking film. And I didn't notice any interlacing. But, you can tell it's not 24fps - it has that video flow to it.

However, the overload of extras are worth it if you don't already own the film.

I'm not sure whether it's because the video quality is genuinely very good or, because it is 1080i and I went in with low expectations, but I was very impressed with how it looks. If you like it as a film, it's practically a must-buy BD.

In fact,it's one of only two VHS I kept.

It took me so long to find it on the Terror Vision label,I couldn't bare to part with it....
