I remember picking Halloween III from Poundland a few years back. It's the MIA UK release so it's fully uncut but it's also VHS quality.

Dreadfully pan & scanned though to ruinous effect.This film has to be seen in its correct 2:35:1 aspect ratio to appreciate Tommy Lee Wallace's compostions.He certainly took note of Carpenter's use of the widescreen.

The Korean disc despite no anamorphic enhancement is well worth a fiver or so.You'll soon junk your old MIA disc (Which I owned prior to this & the Goodtimes disc).Totally uncut & it looks pretty good too.

I could be wrong but didn't Sanctuary release a 16:9 editoin in the UK?

Yes they did. Unfortunately the print used was a re-edited one and cut out most of the gore from the two face-disfigurement scenes.

Alas the MIA DVD is the only uncut UK release to date since the cinema version.
