I concur! Saw them both at advance festival screenings, and think they are absolute modern classics.

I watched Martyrs over the weekend and quite enjoyed it. The last 20m was a bit dull but up until then it was fast moving and very entertaining. Good performances as well.

It didn't surprise me the film was passed uncut here as there was no sexual violence which is pretty much the only thing they cut these days.

The only up and coming one I know of is Vertige (High Lane), which looks more of a teens in peril kind of film. The French horror scene is definitely one to pay attention to at the moment, in my opinion, though.

I agree Bizarre Eye, they have certainly come up with some classics recently. I'm hoping this will continue.

I haven't seen Martyrs yet, probably pick it up sometime soon. But I have to agree with everyone about Inside, an excellent film and the R1 Dimension Extreme disc is well worth having (despite the dodgy cover!).
