that's a difficult one im not quite sure, most of my asian dvds are HKL or japanese movies, this is what i can remember.... Operation Condore 2: Armour of the Gods (R1 buena vista) Fulltime Killer ( R3 universe) Hard Boiled (R2 prism) that's all i can think of at the moment... |

Don't know if anyones mentioned The Bride with White Hair? Wonderful film with Brigitte Lin and Leslie Cheung. I always go to a DVD shop in Temple Street when I'm in Hong Kong and pick up a few classics. I always take a gample with a couple as well. One time this paid off massively was with a Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung film SPL. A great stylised mixture of cop and kung fu genres. Some of the fight choreography is outstanding. |

I revisited my HKL CE DVD of Fist Of Fury recently. Excellent stuff and Bruce's best film for me.

oh, and while I'm here I'll add my best ever HK movie buy. It's an Andy Lau pack of 50 films, bought for about 12 quid in China. Some absolute classics in it such as God of Gamblers, Jian Hu - The Triad Zone, Running out of Time, Conman 1999. Also some absolute drivel like Magic Crystal, Handsome Siblings, and some I can't even work the names out.

! Full Alert is a fantastic film isn't it. I wish I had a better DVD of it (picture quality wise) I got the R2 Hong Kong Classics/MIA release. Lau Ching-Wan, the main guy in that film is as equally charismatic as Anthony Wong if you ask me! Although his performance doesnt quite match the insanity of Anthony Wongs performance in Beast Cops lol.
