So, to celebrate this week's new DVD/Blu-ray release of Van Damme's latest action film, Enemies Closer we've given the forum a special make-over (in case you missed it somehow! )

So, here's the perfect chance to *bump* this thread and post your thoughts on the Muscles From Brussles.

What is your fave movie of his?

I re-watched Universal Solder the other day and forgot just how awesome that movie is. For me, that has to be his best of all time!

For me I went through a faze where I bought everything he did on DVD and now I am a huge fan where I buy everything within a few days of release. Fave film of mine is DOUBLE IMPACT as it's the 1st Van Damme film I ever saw and if we are talking his straight to DVD films it would have to be a split between SECOND IN COMMAND or WAKE OF DEATH

Excellent choice BoF.

It's definitely one of my favourites of his dtv years. The film packs some serious hardware.

For those who haven't seen it, I highly recommend JCVD, as long as you don't mind subtitles. Jean-Claude plays a semi-fictionalized version of himself in the film, going through a tough time, and finds himself caught in a post office robbery/hostage situation. The film also includes his now famous one take, 6 minute monologue to camera about his life, choices and mistakes he's made.
