Still haven't picked up this dvd release yet but will probably get it next week, i personally feel that even though like mentioned this is one of his lesser zombie films however as far as atmosphere and music go they compliment each other well, i really like this film, the gore is more restrained from other Fulci offerings but i feel that when it does flow it's worth the wait and if this was too gory would somewhat detract from the atmosphere quite a bit, after all i think the main concept for the story is based upon a more fantastic / haunting theme, i have the soundtrack to this and the music on its own has an eerie sound / feel to it. How about a blu ray release for this title some time in the future...

It WAS great to see HBTC finally released in the UK though after years of VIPCO and Censor butchery.
And a superb transfer and package to boot.

Word. All my other versions went straight onto the "Out" pile.

Finally saw the film and I must say it was rather crap. Bob is incredibly annoying which is due to whoever dubbed the kid and the film doesn't make much sense (which seems to be the case for most Fulci films). I'm going to give it another watch soon to see if it grows on me but I can't say I was too impressed with the film. What I was impressed with was the Arrow packaging. Brilliant artwork, great menus and a nice booklet which was a very interesting and informative read.

Cool - glad the package kept you happy - I often ended up buying videos, hated the film but then kept the tape for the cool cover and awesome trailers so that was the aim when we kicked off Arrow Video.

Job well done I look forward to buying more Arrow titles to add to my collection. The retro style of these releases is a nice change over the usual photoshopped covers the public is used to.

Yes it was hard persuading retail that they'd work - people are so used to photoshop jobs drenched on dodgy quotes!

And it's really unappealing for the fans, seeing these dodgy photoshop jobs on some of their favourite film. Thankfully these releases are visually appealing and deserve to be called artwork.
