I haven't followed the "City of the living Dead" developments close enough to judge if this DVD release delay is just another of those (artificial/desperate) tries to wow/force cult collectors into "upgrading" to "BluRay" or not....in any case, I'll wait that extra bit longer for the DVD as BR still doesn't float my boat- and won't until my DVD player will (eventually) break down...

Same here.

Hopefully the eventual DVD will have the same special features as the Blu-Ray.

Well, I reckon my first Blu-ray purchases will probably all be Arrow discs, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and City of the Living Dead.I'll have to play them through the BR player on my wife's Sony laptop, I've already got a full HD TV to hook it up to.I'll probably buy a proper BR player eventually but one which will also play multi-region DVD's, there ain't no way I'm giving up on my DVD's.

Arrow ain't in the habit of doing that to their customers Peter.

Horror fans have been short-changed on quality DVD's for too long.
Whether it be DVD or Blu Ray,this incarnation of City is gonna rock.

Damn straight, I've never before felt like supporting a label as much as I do Arrow and Shameless. So much effort and love in these releases. Cannot wait for the DVD of this!
