I have both, and the Grindhouse disc is better.

I've never seen the Grindhouse one but it's hard to imagine better picture quality than the AWE version. Maybe the Grindhouse one achieves it though?!

The Grindhouse one has loads of extras, but I'm not really bothered about that kind of thing, I just want the best possibly version of the actual film I can get/afford. So I got the AWE one. With which I am pleased.
